This reminds me of a trip to Nigeria I took ten years ago…i was on a ‘cultural exchange’ project in Osun state with other performers, learning about Yoruba culture (drumming and dancing). it lasted ten days which was not long enough! The communal spirit of the people was so touching and the children were just so pure – untouched by whatever poison spoils peoples’ hearts in more affluent places. It was quite moving. Where are you?
